Valencia graduated from Tennessee State University with a major in English and a Minor in Spanish. After having her first daughter, Reign, Valencia became more aware of her physical health and changed her lifestyle. Her experience with standard healthcare has not been good, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. 

 

Valencia became a certified doula and found out she was pregnant with Royalty, her second baby. She decided to approach the pregnancy differently. Valencia takes herself and her kids' well-being seriously. 

 

Over the years, many of Valencia's peers and family have come to her for wellness advice, and thus, Plants Are My Friend, was born in 2025 to help women and men who want to feel and look good.

Valencia is currently the Vice President of the Memphis Herb Society.
